Meet The Family
Miksa

Our son Miksa is 11 years old and is the next generation of Transylvania Driver. He is passionate about dance and working out. Fluent in Hungarian, English, and Romanian he is a true Transylvanian. He has a keen eye for photography and visual design. This, coupled with his innate business sense makes him a force to be reckoned with. Watch out world…here comes Miksa.

János was born in raised in Transylvania. He grew up in the city of Kolozsvár (Cluj) but still maintains strong ties to the Hungarian speaking village of Szék (Sic) where his father was born and raised. Trained as a Construction Engineer, János decided to trade in the humdrum of office work for the freedom of the open road. János is the driver of Transylvania Driver. He is friendly, outgoing, and brings his passion for Transylvanian history and culture wherever he goes.

Sarah, on the other hand, was born, raised, and educated in the United States. She has always had a keen love of learning, traveling, and experiencing new cultures. She homeschooled their son Miksa for several years and works professionally as an English teacher and private tutor.
She brings her love of art, literature, and language to all that she does. At Transylvania Driver, she writes the blog entries and oversees the creative and visual aspects of our company.
